Q: What does Atomcal (Quests Bot) do?

A: Atomcal (and Quests bot) is the leading platform for automations around Discord events. It allows auto announcements of events in channels, guest management via ticketing and waitlist if many wants to participate, DM reminders, google calendar sync and much more. Atomcal also allows you to monetize your Discord events by charging a fee to the registering guests.

Q: Why should I use your service?

A: On Atomcal (and Quests bot), you can add power ups to your Discord events with various automations, keep a history of past events and integrate more functionalities into your community events like syncing with Google calendar, email invitations, activity logs and ticketing with waitlists. We also offer low platform fee for international payouts including USA, EU and AUS.

Q: How do I start using Atomcal (Quests bot)?

A: Start with signing up with Discord, then installing the Quests bot in your server. There onwards, you can:
1. select your community on our dashboard, then open the settings
2. select a ticketing template for your event (like IK, WoW etc)
3. setup some basics like announcements channels
4. Finally create an event, and you're ready to gather registration

Q: I created an event, now what can I do?

A: After the event is made and guests starts to register there is a lot more you can do now, like see who joined and when, manage their status, reassign or refund tickets, update the event timings, send email invitations.

Q: How can community members signup to my events?

A: Your community members can signup to your events directly from Discord using the provided ticket selection buttons or dropdown with the event announcement. For paid events, if a member do not have funds they are prompted to top-up. Other than Discord, guests can also signup on the Atomcal dashboard using the events register button.

Q: Do you have my game template? I don't see it.

A: We have many system templates for you to choose in your calendar settings. Including many different event types. However, these are just examples, we encourage you to create your own template as you can create as many templates as you like without any limitations. However, we encourage you to host paid events such that we can keep Atomcal (Quests bot) alive.

Q: Why did you added paid events and what are Bits?

A: Atomcal (Quests bot) is free to use, we added paid events for communities to monetize their events and run exclusive paid only events. This allows hosts to earn a money for their hard work. In Atomcal (Quests bot) tickets are purchased via the in-app currency called Bits. In-app currency is useful because guests wont have to leave Discord to purchase a ticket, and they are more likely to purchase tickets if they already have Bits in their accounts wallet. We charge a commission fee on host payouts once they have enough available income.

Q: How do you deal with refunds and no show events.

A: In Atomcal recharged Bits can't be refunded in the original bank account if they are partially consumed. For example if someone recharged 50 Bits and joins an event using 10 Bits, then the remaining 40 Bits can't be refunded. However, if a recharge is not consumed at all a guest can raise a dispute to receive a full refund to their bank account.

However, event ticket refund policy is very straitforward and automated. Basically, any guests can be refunded their Bit amount which will go back to their wallet balance. If someone joins a waitlist and can't find a spot before event start they are auto refunded by the system. If the event is cancelled by hosts the Bits are auto refunded into the member wallet balance.
