Discord (Events & Announcements)

Auto Start & End Events

• Events now automatically start and end at scheduled times.
  Test: Create an event → wait for start/end → confirm Discord event updates status correctly.

Announcement Auto-Remove

• Old announcements can now auto-delete after a chosen time.
  Test: Set auto-remove to 5 min → create event → after event ends, confirm announcement disappears.

Auto Threads for Events

• Threads are auto-created for event chat (default ON).
  Test: Create an event → check if thread is created under announcement → post messages inside thread.

Temporary Event Channels

• New channel is created for every event (deleted with announcement).
  Test: Enable channel option → create event → confirm channel appears → delete event → channel removed.

Event Description in Discord Details

• Event description now shows in the official Discord event details.
  Test: Create event with long description → open Discord event → confirm description is displayed.

Event Start/End Embeds

• Started event shows: “event will end in…”
• Ended event shows: “event will self-destruct…”
  Test: Create & start event → check embed text → let event end → check updated embed.

Embed vs Message Description

• Option to show description in embed instead of raw message text.
  Test: Toggle embed option → create event → confirm description is in embed not message.

Ticket Buttons or Dropdowns

• Ticket options can be shown as buttons OR dropdown.
  Test: Create event with multiple tickets → switch setting → check UI changes.

Hide Tentative Button

• You can hide the “Tentative” status button.
  Test: Enable hide option → create event → confirm Tentative is gone.

Guest List Display Options

• Show guest list with the event OR separately (changes button to “Show Specs” or “Show Guests”).
  Test: Toggle guest list option → create event → confirm button behavior.

Event Threads + Channels

• If thread enabled → event channel becomes read-only.
  Test: Enable both thread & channel → create event → confirm channel is locked, thread active.

Temporary Event Channel Category

• Temporary event channels now appear in a category.
  Test: Enable → create event → confirm channel is inside correct category.

Archive Category

• Archived categories prevent event channels from deletion.
  Test: Put event channel in archive category → delete event → confirm channel stays.

Extensions Info Field

• Extensions now use “info” field for display.
  Test: Add extension to event → check if details show under “info” section.

V2 Access / Migration

Community Join Required

• Users must join a community before migration.
  Test: Try migrating without joining → confirm block → join community → migration works.

Migration Popup

• Migration popup/button now visible for all users.
  Test: Log in as different roles → check migration button appears.
