- Configuration:
- Send DM reminders 5 minutes before the event starts.
- Outcome: Participants receive a personalized DM at 2:55 PM, reminding them about the meeting.
Tips and Best Practices
- Use Short Reminder Intervals: Sending reminders close to the event start time (e.g., 5-10 minutes prior) is generally more effective.
- Avoid Spamming: Too many DMs can annoy participants. Use minimal reminders unless absolutely necessary.
- Customize for Your Audience: Adjust the reminder timing based on the nature of the event (e.g., longer intervals for webinars, shorter for quick meetings).
Troubleshooting
- DMs Not Sending: Ensure participants have joined the event and have opted to receive notifications.
- Custom Timing Not Working: Confirm that you clicked Add Custom Option after setting the custom time.
- Duplicate Notifications: Double-check if multiple timings have been set unintentionally.
