How to Configure DM Reminders

1. Select Reminder Timing

  • Use the dropdown menu under Send joiners DM reminders.
  • Select a predefined option, such as:
  • "5 minutes before event starts"
  • "10 minutes before event starts"
  • To set a custom timing:
  1. Enter a number in the custom time input field.
  2. Select the unit (Minutes, Hours, Days).
  3. Click Add Custom Option to save the custom timing.

2. Save Your Settings

  • Once you've chosen the reminder timing, click the Save Notifications button to finalize your configuration.

Example Use Case

  1. Scenario: A meeting is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
  2. Configuration:
  • Send DM reminders 5 minutes before the event starts.
  1. Outcome: Participants receive a personalized DM at 2:55 PM, reminding them about the meeting.

  • Use Short Reminder Intervals: Sending reminders close to the event start time (e.g., 5-10 minutes prior) is generally more effective.
