Guest Management
When creating a new event, the host can manage the guest list using the feature available on the left side of the screen. This functionality allows the host to control ticket distribution effectively.
In some cases, the website may display a “No tickets available” message. When this happens, the guest is added to a waitlist. To avoid issues, the host should increase the seat limit in the Guest File Settings before saving the event. This ensures proper guest management and prevents limitations later.
There are three ticket types available:
Registered
The host can define ticket specifications for registered guests, such as Early Bird, VIP, or Regular. Once the changes are saved, the ticket is confirmed.
Attending
This type includes options such as Full Conference Day, Virtual Day, or Single Day attendance.
Not Attending
This indicates that the guest will not attend the event.
Changing Templates and How to Do It
There are various types of templates available, each displaying different ticket types that assist the host in managing guests. At the top of the Guest List section, there is a refresh icon. By clicking this icon, the host can delete the existing template and create a new one tailored to their needs.
Next to the search bar, there is a filter icon that allows the host to view ticket holders based on their status—for example, all confirmed guests.
Additionally, there is an Invite Guest option that allows the host to add guests by entering their email addresses directly.
Signup Template
When a user creates a new event, they will have the option to select tickets. Upon clicking "Select Ticket", a new form will appear where the user must:
- Choose the ticket type
- Specify relevant ticket details/specifications
- Enter their name
- Provide their email address
- State the reason for ticket selection
Once the form is submitted and the changes are saved, the selected ticket will be confirmed and displayed in the Guest Management List.
Host Role – Ticket Management
When a user is assigned the Host role, they gain access to manage tickets in the Ticket Holder section. By clicking on the three-dot menu (⋮) displayed on each ticket, the host can perform the following actions:
- Approve the ticket - Confirms the guest's ticket, allowing them full access to the event as per the ticket type and specifications.
2. Edit ticket details- Hosts can modify ticket details, including the ticket type, guest name, email, or reason for attendance. This is useful for correcting errors or updating guest information.
3. Revoke the ticket – this action cancels the ticket and removes the holder’s access
