Triggers
Respond to event momentum
Rules cover RSVP states, a burst of new joins, attendance below a configured threshold, live-event and late-join nudges, and eligible past attendees of similar events.
Smart Reminders adds RSVP- and event-state decision rules on top of fixed-time notifications. It can evaluate momentum, low turnout, late joins and re-engagement signals, with limits intended to keep nudges from piling up.

Decision engine
The extension listens to event and guest changes, checks configured rules, and records reminder decisions. The implementation includes more than fixed offsets, but not every configured delivery channel is finished.
Triggers
Rules cover RSVP states, a burst of new joins, attendance below a configured threshold, live-event and late-join nudges, and eligible past attendees of similar events.
Guardrails
Settings include quiet hours, role eligibility, exclusion for declined guests, a per-member/per-event cap, cross-type cooldowns and deduplication against fixed reminders.
Reports
Event timelines and conversion-funnel report endpoints are present, alongside logged trigger reasons and outcomes. Predictive targeting is configured as a Boost feature, but its current scoring function is a safe-default stub.
Implementation status—do not overpromise delivery. The current dispatcher’s email and in-app senders only log “would send,” and its Discord DM sender calls an endpoint that the Discord Events module does not implement yet. The rule/queue/reporting code exists, but reliable live delivery requires finishing those transports. Predictive scoring is also stubbed, so this page does not claim it selects a “most likely to join” audience today.
FAQ
No. The smart rules are layered over the existing fixed-time event notifications; the extension also includes deduplication and cooldown controls.
The Boost-gated settings exist, but the current likelihood scorer returns a default score. This page does not describe it as working predictive targeting.
Not reliably in the current code: email and in-app are placeholders, while Discord DM delivery points to a route still to be implemented. The transport work needs to land before those channels can be marketed as live.
Review the actual delivery status before enabling this extension for members; keep fixed notifications separate from the unfinished smart transports.
